At Birkenhead United AFC , the football spirit never leaves. That's why we've organised an exciting School Holiday Programme tailored to celebrate the conclusion of Term 1.
Who: 5 – 12 year olds - All are welcome – even if you don’t play for BUAFC you can register for the holiday program
When: Week 1: Monday 14th April – Thursday 17th April, Week 2: Tuesday 22nd April - Thursday 24th April
Full Day: 9am – 3pm
Half Day: 9am - 12pm
Where: Birkenhead United Clubrooms and Fields, Melba Street, Beach Haven
Cost: $70.00 (inc gst) per day or $39.00 (inc gst) for a half day
You can attend for 1 – 2 – 3 or 4 days, the choice is yours
The Program:
It offers an engaging and enjoyable experience for kids aged 5 to 12 years old, led by our experienced BUAFC Skill Centre and Fun Football Coaches. If we have enough girls register, we will aim to hold special girls-only sessions, aimed at empowering young female players to shine on the pitch, however this will be run on a day by day basis and be in reponse to the number of Girls registered and wanting to play in girls only groups.
Expect a blend of games, challenges, and tournaments designed to foster skill development and, most importantly, enjoyment. The majority of our program is conducted outdoors, ensuring ample fresh air and exercise, while our Birko coaches ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.
But that’s not all! Get ready for an extra dose of excitement! Enrol your child in our School Holiday Program, and they'll automatically enter to win incredible prizes, thanks to Livewire Super Park Birkenhead!
The important details:
Arrival & Departure:
- Sign-in and drop-off are scheduled between 8:45 am and 9:00 am at the Birkenhead United AFC Clubrooms.
- Sign-out and pick-up will occur between 12-12.15pm for half day or 3:00 pm and 3:15 pm for full day, also at the clubrooms.
Daily Essentials:
Children should come prepared with the following items each day:
- Football kit (boots or sports shoes, shin pads, socks, shorts, top)
- Sneakers (in case of wet weather, activities will be held under the covered deck at the clubrooms)
- Warm jumper
- Rain jacket
- Sun hat and sunscreen for sunny days
- Packed lunch (morning tea and lunch) and water bottle
- Any necessary medication. (please hand everything in a named snap lock bag to a coach on sign-in with instructions to administer)
- Their best attitude and Birko Values
- Please make sure everything is named and in a sports/school bag
