Holiday Programme

This July, we’re bringing our school holiday programme back! - Registrations Open NOW!

At Birko, the football spirit never leaves. That's why we've created an exciting School Holiday Programme tailored to celebrate the end of Term 2.

Who:                   5  – 12-year-olds, all are welcome – even if you don’t play for BUAFC you can register for the holiday program

When:                 Week 1:  Monday 8th July – Thursday 11th July

                            Week 2:  Monday 15th July – Thursday 18th July

                            ½ Day Session:  9.00 am – 12.00 pm

                            Full-Day Session:   9.00 am – 3.00 pm

Where:                Birkenhead United Clubrooms and Main Pitch, Melba Street, Beach Haven    

Cost:                   $39.00 (inc gst) half day

                            $70.00 (inc gst) full day

                            You can attend for as many or as few days as you want, the choice is yours!

The Program:

It offers an engaging and enjoyable experience for kids aged 5 to 12 years old, led by our experienced BUAFC Coaches. This time around we are offering specific girls only sessions, however, if there are enough numbers on the day, we will provide the option of being in a girls-only group.

Expect a blend of games, challenges, and tournaments designed to foster skill development and, most importantly, enjoyment. The majority of our program is conducted outdoors, ensuring ample fresh air and exercise, while our Birko coaches ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.

But that’s not all!  Get ready for an extra dose of excitement! Enroll your child in our School Holiday Program, and they'll automatically enter to win incredible prizes, thanks to Livewire Super Park Birkenhead!

The important details:

Arrival & Departure:

  • Sign-in and drop-off are scheduled between 8:45 am and 9:00 am at the Birkenhead United AFC Clubrooms.
  • Sign-out and pick-up will occur between 12-12.15 pm for the half day and 3:00 pm and 3:15 pm for the full day, also at the clubrooms.

Daily Essentials:

Children should come prepared with the following items each day:

  • Football kit (boots, shin pads, socks, shorts, top)
  • Sneakers (in case of wet weather, activities will be held under the covered deck at the clubrooms)
  • Warm jumper
  • Rain jacket
  • Sun hat and sunscreen for sunny days
  • Packed lunch (morning tea and lunch) and water bottle
  • Any necessary medication. (please hand everything in a named snap lock bag to a coach on sign-in with instructions to the coaches)
  • Their best attitude and Birko Values
  • Please make sure everything is named and in a sports/school bag
