BUAFC Junior and Youth Photos 2025
When: Saturdays the 9th, 16th and 23rd of August and Monday 25th of August.
Where: Birkenhead United Clubrooms, Shepherds Park
Please note: Team Photos will proceed as scheduled even if games are cancelled due to the weather
Expect to be with us for 15-20 minutes. As you can appreciate we have a large number of Junior and Youth teams to accommodate during these sessions and we only have the photographer for a limited time for each session so we would appreciate your co-operation with the below: Key information:
- Arrival Time: Please make sure your are aware of your allocated time to arrive at the clubrooms. Arrive at the time indicated on the schedule. Coaches please check in when your whole team is here. Kylie will be located on a table on the deck.
- Uniform: Players need to arrive in their full clean Birkenhead United AFC playing uniform and ensure your boots are clean. No muddy boots will be permitted in the clubrooms. Skills Centre Teams, if you choose, you may wear your Skills Centre Training Kit for your photos if you prefer.
- Player Line-Up: Coaches and/or managers should line up players from shortest to tallest.
- Space Limitation: Due to limited space, and time constraints, we ask that parents wait outside on the deck. Only Coaches and Team Managers will be permitted inside the clubrooms while the photos are being taken.
- Timeliness: Late arrivals will delay your photo time, so please be prompt. As it will be busy, ensure you allow extra time for parking and reaching the clubrooms.
- Delays: Teams will be prioritised as to their scheduled time, so if you are late you will be allocated another time to attend, which may be on another day, or asked to wait until we have a gap in the schedule.
- U5-8 Teams: We will aim to have teams who are playing each other photographed at similar times, if your other team has had their photos you are welcome to begin your training and games earlier than scheduled.
- U9-12 Teams: We have scheduled you for a time where you have a home game (unless requested otherwise), we appreciate you may be there earlier than usual for your game, however we are restricted to timeframes with the photographer. We am still waiting on the draws for some U11 teams. If your team is yet to have a time confirmed - we will be in touch with you as soon as we have an idea if you will be playing at Shepherds Park on the 16th of August.
- Post-Photo: Once your photo has been taken, please exit the clubrooms promptly.
- Absentees: If your child is absent on the day of their scheduled photo, we can place an insert into the photo. Please send a Headshot (Head and Shoulders only) of your child to football@buafc.org.nz and have it named First name, Surname, Grade, Team (e.g Kylie Dalton U5 Cheetahs). This should be done no later than 5pm Tuesday 26th August. We take no responsibility for inserted photos if they are labelled incorrectly or are received late.
- Toilets: The Toilets inside the clubrooms will not be open for use, please make sure your child is changed and has used the toilet at home before you arrive. Otherwise the toilets downstairs will be open for use.
- Photo Orders: Every child will receive a team photo, these come as part of your registration fee. Photos will be handed out at the prize giving later in the season. Please see your coach if you are absent at the prize giving to retrieve your copy.
- Extra Copies: Please email football@buafc.org.nz if you would like an extra copy of your team, please specify which team photo/s you require and the number of copies. Extra copies are $20 each.
