Term 4 Programmes
Term 4 Skills Centre
All players need to register for the T4 Skills Centre so we can prepare sessions according to our numbers. Registrations are now open by logging in to your Friendly Manager account or registering your child in the box at the top of this page.
Details regarding the programme
Cost: The fee for all players for the 6 week Term 4 programme is $70.00 inc gst.
Players: Our Term 4 sessions are open to all players aged U8 - 11, even if they aren't currently in the Skills Centre Programme.
Venue: Shepherds Park
Session Timings: The T4 Skills Centre Programme begins on Monday the 4th of November and will run for 6 weeks every Monday evening. The last day will be Monday 9th December.
Session Times are:
- Mondays 4.30 pm - 5.30 pm: Under 8 and Under 9, U 8 and 9 Girls (Born between 2015 - 2016)
- Mondays 5.45 pm - 6.45 pm: Under 10, Under 11, Under 11 Girls (Born between 2013 - 2014)
Term 4 Activities and Organisation: Players will be rotated through a variety of fun activities and games that aim to continue working on our 4R’s (Releasing, Receiving, Retaining, and Running with the Ball). There is no seperate goalie training in Term 4.

Term 4 TDP Trials
This will commence on Tuesday 12th November and run twice a week for four weeks for those players wanting to participate in our 2025 TDP teams. This is open to all of our U12 - 17 players and if you have friends who play at other clubs, encourage them to get down to Birkenhead United and trial with us in Term 4!
Trial sessions:

- 2025 U13 - U14: 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm (Born 2012 and 2011)
- 2025 U15 - U17: 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm (Born 2010, 2009 and 2008)
We have a parents and players information evening at the club on Tuesday 5th November at 6.00pm to outline plans for Term 4 and 2025, so please put this date in your calendar. Registrations are now open and you can register for this through your Friendly Manager Account. Please note that you must register to join the trails, even if you have been playing in the TDP and Championship space this year.

Term 4 Girls TDP Trials and Training
As the season comes to a close we would like to update you on what Term 4 will look like for Football at Birkenhead as we appreciate this is a busy time between school and summer sport commitments.In Term 4, we will have a five-week training block. This will include:
- Two training sessions per week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 pm to 6:15pm at Westlake Girls, from 15th October to 21st November (Note Thursday session time tbc, possibly shift to Greville Reserve on Friday as alternative)
- During this training block, we will also invite other girls from different age groups in preparation for next year.
- We may look to organise games on the Weekend against other TDP teams during this period.
The purpose of this training block is to identify girls for the U14s team and girls for the U16s team for the 2025 season, ahead of next year’s trials. We are keen to continue the development and growth of our girls' football program. The programme is open to all girls who are playing in U12 - U14.
Regarding next season, we are delighted to confirm a successful provisional year of TDP and we are currently working towards plans for a fully accredited TDP programme in 2025. As part of this process, we will use this block to ID eligible girls for the U16s next season prior to trails next year.

Tuesday - Street Football
We will be offering Street Football sessions during Term 4 for your children. These sessions will be held at the Futsal Courts at Beach Haven Tennis Club and will be run by our amazing team of Coaches. It’s a great opportunity for your children to develop their skills in a fun and engaging environment.

- Dates: Tuesday, 15th October – Tuesday, 3rd December
- Cost: $80.00 for all 8 sessions
- Location: Futsal Courts, Beach Haven Tennis Club
- Who: Open to our U5 - U12 players
Session Times:
- Session 1: 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm (Ages U5 – U8)
- Session 2: 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm (Ages U8 – U12)
What to bring/wear: A named drink bottle, wear something comfortable to run around in, wear sports shoes (no football boots), Long socks and shin pads are optional.

Friday - Fantails
Calling all Girls interested in learning to play Football!Birkenhead United AFC is excited to offer the Milo Fantails Programme in Term 4The Milo Fantails Programme is a fun and safe program for girls aged 8 through 11. It's perfect for beginners and those who haven’t been playing long. Run by Female coaches these sessions will help your child make new friends, have fun, improve their skills, and stay active through football.
