Member Update on Season Fees

Update from the Birkenhead United Management Committee – Sent via email on 21 September 2020

Dear Member

We know that this has been a challenging and stressful year for everyone. With a reduced football season just one of the many issues we have all had to cope with. Even though many of us only had a handful of games in the Red & White strip this year, the costs of preparing for this season had to be, and were committed, well before the impact of COVID-19.

To manage the impact of COVID-19 on our club, we are asking you to unite with us and leave your registration fees in the club. Our ability to continue to provide an affordable community football experience is dependent on us all standing together as a community. We will then be able to carry your commitment and solidarity into 2021 and beyond.

We do recognise that some families may have suffered a greater impact from COVID-19 than others and we are keen to understand who that may be, and to also understand what we can do to support you both now and over the months to come. If this is you, please get in touch with us directly.

We will continue to plan for the future and will be back in touch with plans and programmes for Term 4 and next year.
